Sugar Loaf Residence This house is located 15 minutes outside Boulder on 2.2 acres of gently sloping meadows. Views from the lot are spectacular and the house is designed to capitalize on those. Build with keen attention to detail and performance the house has a combination of wood and steel cladding on top of a non-combustible skin-sheating. During the Four Mile fire ( 2010 ) the fire came within feet of the house yet did not set it on fire. By using pre-fabricated components ( SIP’s) we were able to build this house in under 6 months during winter. The house is 3600 square feet 4 bedrooms, 3.5 baths and has a large home office/studio/guest suite above garage. Engineering: Structural Integrity
